The Residential Networking Program provides resident students with computing support in the residence halls. We provide on site support* in the following areas:
Connect students computers to the high speed SUNY Oneonta network.
Configure e-mail and browser software.
Attempt to troubleshoot problems which may arise with network connections.
Provide basic tech support for applications and hardware.
Work with professional technical staff to provide more advanced support.
Hold instructional workshops on computing topics of interest.
Provide individual instruction upon request.
Ensure your computers are up to date with Anti-Virus and Windows Updates
* Academic Computing Services provides instruction and basic tech support. We do not provide advanced hardware and operating system repair. Students with computers which are under a valid warranty will be referred to the warranty provider. E-mail Raphael Web, Residential Networking Coordinator
