The Residential Networking Program provides resident students with computing support in the residence halls. We provide on site support* in the following areas:
  • Connect students computers to the high speed SUNY Oneonta network.
  • Configure e-mail and browser software.
  • Attempt to troubleshoot problems which may arise with network connections.
  • Provide basic tech support for applications and hardware.
  • Work with professional technical staff to provide more advanced support.
  • Hold instructional workshops on computing topics of interest.
  • Provide individual instruction upon request.
  • Ensure your computers are up to date with Anti-Virus and Windows Updates

* Academic Computing Services provides instruction and basic tech support. We do not provide advanced hardware and operating system repair. Students with computers which are under a valid warranty will be referred to the warranty provider.
