| Navigator Remote

This is a wireless remote used to control PowerPoint presentations without having to go back to the computer for every slide change. Individual buttons on the remote advance and reverse slides. A third button blanks the screen to return attention to the presenter. A fourth button controls the built in laser pointer.
A receiver for the navigator remote will be connected to the computer in all 30 fully-enhanced classrooms, and also can be signed out for a short term or semester loan.

| Personal Response System

PRS (Personal Response System), also known as audience polling systems, consist of transmitters for every audience (or class) member which communicate with a receiver or receivers which then sends information to a computer. The transmitters are used to respond to questions posed by the instructor. Results can be tallied, displayed and stored for future reference.
Personal Response Systems will be located in IRC Lecture Hall 1,3 and 5, Schumacher 210 and mobile cart, Science 1 room 121, and Human Ecology 132.

| This device combines the functions of a flat panel computer monitor and an electronic whiteboard. The attached stylus can be used like a mouse to manipulate any program. The stylus can also be used to annotate over any program. These annotations can then be saved for future reference. Sumpodiums will be located in the Schumacher fully-enhanced classrooms. This device is currently not available for signout. |

The document camera (aka visualizer, presenter, Elmo) is used tp project a large screen display of a variety of objects such as slides, overhead transparencies and three dimensional objects. The included zoom lens allows full screen images of very small details.
The document camera shown below has auto or manual focus and manual zoom and is available for classroom setup.
The document cameras located in Schumacher fully enhanced classrooms have a remote control which allows manipulaiton of zoom, focus and other details.
