How to setup a Exchange account in Outlook 2007

This document will guide you through the process of configuring Outlook 2007 for a exchange account.

How to setup Exchange in Outlook 2007

1.Open Outlook and go to Tools >Account Settings (or if this is the first time you have opened Outlook you can use the Account creation wizard that opens when you started Outlook for the first time). Click on the New button.


2. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTPand click Next

3. Enter in your user account information


4. Check the box Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next


5. Select Microsoft Exchange and click Next


6. For the Microsoft Exchange server field type in Exchange
Next, deselect the check box for Use Cashed Exchanged Mode
Third, enter in your user namein the User Name field and click Next


7.Finally, click Finish and you are done
