How to get your IP and MAC address from a Mac computer

This guide will guide you though the process for obtaining your IP address and your MAC address (aka. Physical address)from a Mac computer

1.Choose Apple menu > About This Mac.
2.Click More Info to open System Profiler. [as shown below] (Or open the Apple System Profiler application located in Applications/Utilities or located on the dock at the bottom of the screen.)


3.Click the topics on the left to see the information you're looking for. To see more detail, click the triangle next to an item.


Network shows your IP address and your Ethernet Address also known as your MAC Address or Physical Address
