Use RSS Popper to subscribe to RSS feeds in Outlook

This document describes how to add RSS feeds to your Outlook client.

Download RSS Popper from the download section of the website .
When it is installed the RSS Popper Toolbar will be visible in Outlook.




Copy the URL of the RSS feed you would like to add to RSS Popper




Click the RSS Popper button and choose Edit Feeds




The Feeds Info window will appear. Click the New>> button.




Choose RSS/Atom Feed




This window will allow you to add a new feed. Paste the URL of the RSS feed into the Link field.




Press the "Get From Feed" button to have all the fields auto populate from the feed and click OK




The Feeds Info screen will not show your new subscription.
The Last Refresh field will be blank because it has not refreshed yet.
Click OK to return to Outlook




A new RSS folder will be visible under your Mail folders.
RSS Popper will automatically check your subscriptions for new entries.




When you view the item it will display a short summary and give you a
link to visit the site to read the updated item on the site.
